The ANGEL React Shirt System recognizes when there is a current flow through the body and a voltage drop between the upper arms. As the circumstances behind an electric incident are many and vary, we cannot guarantee that every single one will be detected.

The fall detection is a combination of free fall with subsequent immobility. If a significant shock occurs, the fall sensor starts recording the fall, integrated into the Clip Genius and the Shirt Genius. The fall sensor detects false alarms by analyzing falls and recognizing whether it is necessary to trigger an alarm or not. In fact, the automatic alarm triggering is only activated if the person remains motionless after the fall, as we then assume a real emergency. Therefore, fall detection is not activated in every fall situation, e.g., when jumping off the ladder and then walking away.

Smartphones use either the cellular network or a direct data connection such as Wi-Fi. If neither link is available for more than 15 minutes, the smartphone will prompt you to reestablish the link. You can also set a work timer – you can activate this timer before you carry out dangerous work or before you, for example, work in a basement with no reception. If the timer has expired and you do not end the alarm, the rescue chain is automatically informed.

No. Sweating and washing cause moisture in the textile, but we have developed our technology to be waterproof. If the specified care instructions are followed, there will be no functional loss after up to 50 washing cycles. No, Bluetooth® uses several frequencies, so that interference is very unlikely. Only too many Bluetooth® devices in a confined space can lead to reduced performance and short interruptions, which are communicated acoustically.

Up to eight workers can share a Genius, if they have installed the ANGEL React App (Version 2.1.) on their smartphone.

To hand over a Genius, the workers have to do the following:

• Worker 1 goes through the full pairing and registration process
• Worker 2-8 go through a shortened pairing process, entering their own phone number (all other data remains the same)

The Genius always automatically connects to an app it has already been paired with.

This means: if one user closes their ANGEL React app, the app on another user’s smartphone can automatically connect to the Genius.
